Elevator Pitch No. 2

My Elevator Pitch No. 2: https://youtu.be/5SOheemddEM

While all of my comments were positive, I critiqued my own elevator pitch. I didn’t like my previous hook, as it did not truly capture the audience’s attention. I also amped up my energy level to make myself seem even more passionate and excited about my proposal. Lastly, I removed all of the larger vocabulary to make my proposal feel more personable and less preachy. I really feel as though these small changes made my elevator pitch infinitely better.

  1. Nicole, you definitely presented a lot of energy in this pitch which I liked. You were confident about the product that you were pitching and that's what an investor wants to see. I think the idea of a solar powered charger for your phone is a good idea. You presented the product well and showed how it would work. Marketing is a huge factor and I believe if you market it well, it would really sell. Great job with this!

  2. Hi, Nicole! I thought you did a great job with your pitch. You seemed genuinely excited about sharing your idea and I think it helped your audience get excited about it, too. One critique I would make is to take out the part that introduces yourself (your name, major, school). Our teacher said it's irrelevant and takes up space. Otherwise, great job and great product!

  3. Hello Nicole, I really enjoyed watching your pitch! I definitely think that amping up your energy not only made you seem more confident in your product but also passionate about what you were trying to sell. You also made it clear in the video that you were very knowledgeable about the topic and I think that could help to sell your product as well.

  4. Hey there Nicole, I really liked the energy in this post compared to your last pitch. Although both do not entirely lack energy and charisma, this new one definitely has a lot more confidence and you can tell you care about what you’re talking about. Overall the pitch can be considered a finished product, not everyone can have a fancy clicker or whiteboard but you definitely are making it work. Cheers! Tina

  5. Hey Nicole! Great 90 second elevator pitch! I think that your pitch has improved by milestones both in confidence and passion. I really think you would have had my attention if you gave me this pitch in an elevator. You also made good eye contact with the camera and had very positive energy. Keep up the great work!
